Junior Valedictorian
June 25, 2024.
Honoured as Junior Valedictorian at the end of Year 10 (O-Level) graduation ceremony. The event marked a celebration of community, perseverance, and shared success.
It was an accumulation of years of hardwork, months of rigorous exams and an emotional end to what ‘school life’ fundamentally meant. The Theme of my speech was perseverance. It was an opportunity that I had sought throughout since it was a portrayal of leadership, courage and perseverance. While my O level exam was going on, I prepared the speech with impromptu preparation and only got selected against my peers because I spoke from the heart, reincarnating memories and resilience through difficult times spent with students and our respective faculty thoroughout I-X.

International STEM Olympiads and Acreditations

Achieved Gold award amongst 12300 global participants in the International Astrophysics and Astronomy Competition 2025 (IAAC)
International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition (IAAC 2025) July-Sep 2025 and International Youth Math challenge (IYMC 2025) Dec 24- Feb 25. These (each 3 round) 2 are college-university level competitions, honing 12300 & 5300 participants respectively. These 2 competitions created a very challenging environment for me where I had to understand and apply very difficult engineering concepts from PhD research papers provided by them. I stayed up till 4am on a school test day, writing 16 pages of research and math for 5 analytical questions. With there being no mark scheme, I relied on the knowledge I obtained through of “why and how” in every academic concept I was taught in class X & XI to approach these multi-faceted complex scenarios. After 2 rounds of qualifying, I persevered to become Top 1 percentile [20/20 marks] out of 12300 participants in IAAC and Top 15 Percentile out of 5300 participants. Each round enacted a new system I overcame.

Industrial and Practical Learning

The field excursion to Paragon Ceramic Factory in Gazipur was an outstanding practical learning experience where we could relate numerous fields of study with their practical implications. A hands on visit to the factory allowed us to explore through intricate machinery, production units and departments like Research & Development, Recycling, Quality Control etc. A field excursion like no other, the visit enlightened us about factory norms and nomenclature, as well as giving a vivid idea about working conditions and safety regulations.
